Enter a weekly dose and concentration to calculate.
How the calculation works
mg per injection = weekly mg ÷ injections per week.
mL per injection = mg per injection ÷ concentration (mg/mL).
U-100 units = mL per injection × 100.
Supply in weeks = vial mL × concentration ÷ weekly mg.
Every other day uses 3.5 injections per week as a long-term average (7 injections across 14 days). An individual calendar week contains 3 or 4 injections.
Vial duration is a quantity estimate only. It excludes waste, dead space and any discard date after opening. Follow the vial’s storage and discard instructions. Fractional units may not be measurable on your syringe; confirm how to measure your prescribed dose with a pharmacist or prescriber.
